How Do I Sell My Gold Jewelry For Retail Price?

I read that I can get 75% more value if I sell it for retail as opposed to scrap. But, I can’t find anywhere that will buy it for retail or even close to retail.

  No one really buys retail… Jewelry is kind of like a car, as soon as you drive it off the lot it loses a good amount of its value (unless it is an antique piece that appreciates in value)
