Is There Any Catch When It Comes To Selling(to A Jeweler) Assay Certified 99.9% Pure Gold Coins In India?

Gold coins and gold bars are being sold by banks and the Post Office(in India)….If we were to buy these and sell them to a jeweller at a later date for money, will we get market price?
I mean….when we try sell old jewellery for money they take a margin citing purity reasons….but what I was talking was about assay certified pure gold….there should not be any purity issues there…..but will we get market price….or is there a catch?????

  • I would be astonished if they paid you market price. They exist to make a profit. They probably sell at a small premium and buy at a small discount. Best bet is to ask the jeweler.
