I Have Taken Loan Agaist Gold ,can They Sale For Recovery ,without Giving Me Notice.they Given On Old Addr.?
i went to pay them they told , pay 50% ,when went to pay 50% they said we had sold your gold to recover rs.160000/- without giving me notice . however they sent one advocat letr to my old address instead of new addrs.which they having in their records. total gold wasof rs.400000/-. no a/c or bal. given to me. can i take any legal action , how. i lost evrything due to ther mistake.

Without giving notice selling away the pledged article is illegal. You say they had sent a legal notice to your old address. Have you notified to the pawn broker your new address? If you can establish that you have notified them your change of address, you can proceed against them legally. Anyway please consult a lawyer in this regard.
