I have a 500, 100, and 50, all 3 are gold certificates issued in 1928, in very nice condition. Included is an oak wall display case i’ve had them in for many years. I’m ready to sell them now so thank you for input and any interest.

  • Assuming they are genuine, all three of those are quite scarce.
Just for drill, let’s make sure that these are gold certificates (with the orange – yellow seal and serial numbers), and not Federal Reserve Notes (with green seals and serial numbers). If we got that far: Those three notes catalog for $500, $1250, and $7500 in average circulated condition. These would be something that only the biggest coin dealers will be able to absorb into inventory.
Here are two dealers that you would probably want to check with:http://www.donckelly.comHttp://www.denlys.com
Series 1928 Federal Reserve Notes are much more common.
