The fast fluctuating price has dogged the growth of Nepali bullion market. Sale of gold jewellery has plunged by 80 percent this wedding season. Since last Sunday, gold price set a record high of Rs 29,535 per 10g (Rs 34,450 per tola) on Thursday and fell to Rs 28,980 the following day.
