I Need Some Help With Selling Gold To A Refinery.?

I had some gold jewelry lying around, don’t know where I got it, probably relatives’ jewelry, and I was thinking of sending in to cash4gold or something similar. I did some searching, however, and found out that they aren’t the best people to whom to sell. I was wondering if someone could recommend some good refineries and tell me how much it will cost? It would be good if they were cheap, but I know that that isn’t always the case.
One more question, what are peoples’ experiences with Garfield Refining Company and the David H. Fell & Company refiners? Can anyone offer any insight? Thanks.

  Your best bet would be talking to local jewelry makers… they probably have contacts in the refiner industry. Its tough to say though, cause who knows if refiners are listed in the phone book.
